Relative Pronoun (सम्बंधवाचक सर्वनाम)

➡ ये दो clauses को जोड़ते हैं और noun के बारे में जानकारी देते हैं।

Words: That, Which, Who, Whom, Whose

📌 Examples:

• The boy who came here is my friend.

• This is the book that I like.

• The girl whom we saw was tall.

⚠️ ध्यान दें:
Who / Whom / Which / What interrogative भी हो सकते हैं, लेकिन तब वाक्य प्रश्नात्मक होगा।

Possessive Adjective / अधिकारवाचक विशेषण

Ownership या अधिकार दिखाते हैं। ये हमेशा noun से पहले आते हैं।

🔹 Words: My, Your, His, Her, Its, Our, Their

🔹 Examples:

• My house is big.

Their school is famous.

Personal Pronoun (व्यक्तिवाचक सर्वनाम)

➡ ये व्यक्ति (Person) के अनुसार बदलते हैं –
1st Person: I, We, Me, Us, Mine, Ours
2nd Person: You, Yours
3rd Person: He, She, It, They, Him, Her, Them, His, Hers, Theirs

📌 Use in Sentences:

• I am a student. (1st person, subject)

• He helped me. (1st person, object)

• This is my book. (Possessive)

• They are going home.

 Emphatic Pronoun (ज़ोर देने वाले)

➡ Subject पर जोर डालने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है, लेकिन इसका कोई अलग काम नहीं होता।

Words: वही reflexive pronoun जैसे Myself, Himself आदि

📌 Examples:

• I myself don't agree.

• The teacher himself said it.

• They themselves did the work.

📌 Note: Reflexive & Emphatic pronouns दिखने में एक जैसे होते हैं, फर्क Sentence के काम से पता चलता है।

Abstract Noun (भाववाचक संज्ञा)

जिसे हम ना देख सकते हैं, ना छू सकते हैं, बस महसूस कर सकते हैं, वह Abstract Noun कहलाता है।
Examples: Anger (गुस्सा), Pain (दर्द)

Demonstrative Adjective / संकेतवाचक विशेषण

किसी noun की ओर इशारा करते हैं। इनके बाद हमेशा noun आता है।

🔹 Words: This, That, These, Those, Such, A/An/The

🔹 Examples:

• This book is mine. (This + noun = adjective)

• Such questions are silly.

• The pen is new.

🔹 Note:
अगर इन शब्दों के बाद noun नहीं है तो ये pronoun होते हैं।

Proper Adjective / विशेष नाम से बने विशेषण

Proper noun से बने adjective, जो देश, व्यक्ति, संस्कृति आदि दिखाते हैं।

🔹 Examples:

• I love Indian food.

He is a Gandhian thinker.

Distributive Adjective / बंटन वाचक विशेषण

एक-एक करके सभी को दर्शाते हैं।

🔹 Words: Each, Every, Either, Neither

🔹 Examples:

• Each student was ready.

• Every box was opened.

🔹 Note:
‘Every’ सिर्फ adjective होता है, pronoun नहीं।

Distributive Adjective / बंटन वाचक विशेषण

एक-एक करके सभी को दर्शाते हैं।

🔹 Words: Each, Every, Either, Neither

🔹 Examples:

• Each student was ready.

• Every box was opened.

🔹 Note:
‘Every’ सिर्फ adjective होता है, pronoun नहीं।

 Concrete Noun (ठोस संज्ञा)

जिसे हम देख सकते हैं या छू सकते हैं, वो Concrete Noun होता है।
Examples: Book, Pen, Stone, Water

Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्पर संबंध दिखाने वाले)

➡ जब दो या दो से अधिक लोग एक-दूसरे से काम करते हैं।

Words: Each other (दो के लिए), One another (दो से अधिक के लिए)

📌 Examples:

• Ram and Shyam respect each other.

We should help one another.

Collective Noun (समूहवाचक संज्ञा)

जो किसी समूह या झुंड को एक नाम से बताए, वह Collective Noun होता है।
Examples:

• Crowd (भीड़)

• Mob (उग्र भीड़)

• Team (टीम)

• Flock (पक्षियों का झुंड)

• Bouquet (फूलों का गुच्छा)

• Pride of lions (सिंहों का झुंड)

• Constellation of stars (तारों का समूह)

Material Noun (द्रव्यवाचक संज्ञा)

जो किसी पदार्थ का नाम हो — जिससे चीजें बनाई जाती हैं — वो Material Noun होता है।
Examples:
Gold, Iron, Wood, Cotton, Milk, Sugar, Water, Petrol, Ink

ये हमेशा Uncountable होते हैं (गिने नहीं जाते)।

Proper Adjective / विशेष नाम से बने विशेषण

Proper noun से बने adjective, जो देश, व्यक्ति, संस्कृति आदि दिखाते हैं।

🔹 Examples:

• I love Indian food.

Countable vs Uncountable Noun

✨ Countable noun को a/an, many, few आदि के साथ प्रयोग करते हैं।

 Uncountable noun के साथ much, little, some, a lot of का प्रयोग होता है।

Proper Noun (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा)

जो किसी खास व्यक्ति, स्थान या वस्तु का नाम हो, वो Proper Noun कहलाता है।
Examples:
Alok, Lata, Lucknow, Japan, Ramayan

ध्यान दें – Proper Noun हमेशा capital letter से शुरू होता है।

Common Noun (जातिवाचक संज्ञा)

ये ऐसे नाम होते हैं जो सामान्य चीज़ों के लिए इस्तेमाल होते हैं — किसी व्यक्ति, जानवर, स्थान या वस्तु का आम नाम।
Examples:
Student, Child, City, River, Book

जैसे – "boy" एक common noun है, लेकिन "Rahul" proper noun है।

Adjective of Number / संख्यावाचक विशेषण

Noun की संख्या (गिनती) या क्रम (order) बताते हैं।
👉 Countable Nouns के साथ ही प्रयोग होते हैं।

तीन प्रकार के होते हैं:

🔹 Examples:

• He had some apples.

• I have read several books.

This is my first car.

Indefinite Pronoun (अनिश्चितवाचक सर्वनाम)

➡ किसी अनिश्चित व्यक्ति या वस्तु को दर्शाते हैं।

Words: Someone, Anyone, Nobody, Everyone, One, None, All, Some, Few, Many, etc.

📌 Examples:

• Somebody is waiting for you.

• Nobody knows the answer.

• Everyone was happy.

✅ अधिकतर singular माने जाते हैं। पर कुछ context के अनुसार plural भी हो सकते हैं (Few, Many etc.)

Emphasising Adjective / बल देने वाले विशेषण

किसी बात पर जोर देने के लिए "Own" और "Very" का प्रयोग।

🔹 Examples:

• I saw it with my own eyes.

• This is the very place we met.

• These were his very words.

🔹 Note:

• Very + noun → adjective

Very + adjective/adverb → adverb

Collective Noun (समूहवाचक संज्ञा)

जो किसी समूह या झुंड को एक नाम से बताए, वह Collective Noun होता है।
Examples:

Degree of Comparison / तुलना की अवस्था

Adjective तीन रूपों में आते हैं:

🔹 जिन adjectives में 2 से अधिक syllables हों, उनमें More / Most का प्रयोग होता है:

• Useful → More Useful → Most Useful

• Beautiful → More Beautiful → Most Beautiful

• Fresh flowers – Fresh (adjective), flowers (noun)

• She is beautiful – Beautiful (adjective), She (pronoun)

This is useful – Useful (adjective), This (pronoun)

संज्ञा वह शब्द है जो किसी व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थान, भावना या गुण का नाम बताता है।

Exclamatory Adjective / विस्मयादिबोधक विशेषण

आश्चर्य/भावना व्यक्त करने के लिए। ‘What’ का प्रयोग होता है।

🔹 Examples:

• What a performance!

What an idea!

Distributive Pronoun (प्रत्येक अलग-अलग)

➡ एक-एक कर बात करता है। (Individuals को दर्शाता है)

Words: Each, Either, Neither

📌 Examples:

• Each of the boys was rewarded. ✅ (Pronoun – ‘Each of’ के बाद noun नहीं सीधा आया)

• Each boy got a prize. ❌ (Adjective – ‘Each’ के बाद noun ‘boy’ है)

Noun की विशेषता, रंग, आकार, गुण, स्वभाव बताने वाले adjective।

🔹 Words: Big, Small, Clever, Red, Fresh, Strong, Beautiful

🔹 Examples:

• She is a beautiful girl.

He is strong.
